The Society of the Headless is a group of experienced and talented magicians passionate about refining their craft and curious about the wide variety of occult, religious, and esoteric techniques from all cultures. Having collective decades of experience in a wide range of traditions including Western Magick Traditions, Wicca, Buddhism, Hoodoo, Voudon, Void Magick, Norse Magic, Neo-Platonism, Chaos Magick, Satanism, the Eleusinian Mysteries, and many, many more.

The Society of the Headless seeks individuals devoted to the practice of the Great Work. With a focus on meeting virtually and in person to share our expertise and interests rather than waxing philosophically about the nature of the universe, the members of SotH are determined to push the boundaries of magickal theory through time-tested and experimental means.

The Society represents the newest research and development of occult technology through our wide variation of specialized Houses. Our focus is praxis. We don’t just talk, we do. As the newest evolution in occult societal structure, The Society is flatly governed without any ranks or hierarchy, reducing problematic power dynamics. Instead of relying on degrees or levels, which lead to mental and metaphysical atrophy, the SotH believes that all members are equal.
